American Gauthic debuted in Dark Discoveries #3 in the fall of 2004.  None other than Thomas F. Monteleone, whose own column Mothers and Fathers Italian Association (lovingly known to its fans as MAFIA) was a major influence, has said, "Your voice in the piece is sincere and very conversational (hmm, wonder where you got that?) -- and you make some good points."

 

Dark Discoveries can be found at Shocklines, Project Pulp, Clarkesworld Books, and other places.  It's being distributed by Ingram Periodicals and may be found at a bookstore near you.
